Welcome to Monkipoe. We are a primate rescue dedicated to providing a safe loving home for monkeys born in the United States.We rescue monkeys in need. Monkipoe exists because of founder Bonnie Poe's love for primates. Bonnie started out by owning a monkey as a pet, but quickly came to realize the commitment and the resources needed to properly care for monkeys. Monkipoe does not encourage ownership of primates as pets. Monkipoe does not sell monkeys for pets or for any other purpose. Monkipoe believes that the monkeys be allowed to function as family units. We are expanding our current facilities to accommodate the growing need to house these most awesome creatures. Our ability to do this charitable work depends largely on your generous donations. We need and appreciate your help to improve and expand living areas, provide excellent veterinarian care and properly care for nutritional needs.
